Houston friends! I love when I get to share FREE movie passes for you to watch fun, family-friendly movies like The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part! Have you seen the first one? Did you see the trailer for this one? It’s hilarious!

My son recently turned 13 and I remember when LEGO® blocks were his life! When he was 3, we visited LEGOLAND® in San Diego and you should have seen him! There’s just something about kids and LEGO® blocks. They get creative, see ideas come to life and even dad and I could get in on the fun! There’s a Delorean from Back to the Future LEGO® set that I still have yet to build! LOL!

But that’s another movie!

When and Where is the Movie?

It’s this Saturday, February 2 at 11:30 a.m. at AMC Gulf Pointe 30!

The LEGO® Movie 2: The Second Part is rated PG.

Is it Family Friendly?

Great question! If you’re familiar with my blog, you know it’s all about Family, Faith & Fun! You’ll find my personal “Christian Mom’s Take” on movies like Beauty & the Beast and The Incredibles 2. I have not seen The LEGO® Movie 2 yet, so I can’t comment on it. But I can tell you, without spoilers, that I really enjoyed one of the messages of the first Lego Movie: how much our kids really want us to play with them. I appreciated the reminder to busy, working parents (like me!) to take the time to get down on the floor and play with your kids. Even if you might have to risk accidentally stepping on a LEGO® in the middle of the night! (Hopefully not!)

Let me know if you have any questions! And feel free to share this with your Houston friends!

Laughing thru life,

Coppelia
